Set up site structure in Dreamweaver.

Page properties – background colour etc.

3. Text Text formatting, placement, creating text links.

4. Introducing pictures

Selecting picture files, optimising for the web – saving in the correct format.
Importing pictures.
5. Pictures continued Image placement, creating image links and image maps. Rollovers.
6. Using tables Creating and using tables. Imputing tabular data. Using tables as a layout design tool.
7. Putting it all together Creating a web site with several pages and links – using the techniques learnt so far.

8. More advanced features

Adding further effects – geared to students’ needs and requests, may include features such as interactive effects, adding forms,  using templates etc.
9. Getting noticed Ways of getting your website featured in searches etc.
10. Publishing your website How to put your site on the web and keep it updated.
